‘Moderate to heavy rain,’ high waves, 60 mph wind gusts in Chicago area Thursday may cause lakefront flooding into Friday

Moderate early spring temperatures should continue in the Chicago area through the weekend, but most of northern Illinois and northwest Indiana will first face a trifecta of treacherous weather Thursday in the form of rain, high wind and waves.
